A two day Abhinaya Workshop by Sasikala Penumarthi
April 7th: 6pm - 8:30pm
April 8th: 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm
Sasikala Penumarthi is a senior disciple of Padma Bhushan Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam. She is a recipient of the Master Artist award from the Georgia Arts Council and the National Foundation for the Advancement of Arts. She serves as Artiste Affiliate and Associate Faculty at Emory University, where she teaches full credit semester courses in Kuchipudi.
She is is on the Georgia Arts Council State Touring and Teaching Artists Roster, and performs and teaches all over the United States. Sasikala and troupe have presented several dramas including her own productions to Atlanta audiences and in other parts of the United States.
