Yaatra

Indian classical dance is rooted in tradition, yet its reach spans continents, breaking borders of culture, nationality, and aesthetics. Yaatra, or Journey, is an evening of traditional pieces and original choreography, reflecting Kalanidhi Dance’s own journey through the ancient yet relevant world of Kuchipudi. The evening is united by the cultural threads that bind the dancers to their art while supporting their expansion into non-traditional spaces.
