Dancing with Shiva features Kalanidhi Dance accompanied by a live ensemble of musicians. In collaboration with international composers, Sudha Raghuraman and Praveen Rao from India, Dancing with Shiva will present an evening of traditional and brand-new work that expresses Kalanidhi’s signature style of classical Kuchipudi.
Dancing with Shiva represents the dancing universe, in which Shiva embodies the rhythm and flow of life and the primordial sound that unites all of creation—the sacred and the profane, the animate and inanimate.
