A Rangapravesam is a Kuchipudi student’s solo dance debut.

A Rangapravesam is a Kuchipudi student’s solo dance debut and signifies the dancer’s completion of the basic Kuchipudi repertoire. However, the vocabulary of Kuchipudi is vast and continues to present new concepts for the dancer to explore; thus, a Rangapravesam is only the beginning of a life-long commitment to the art form.
